Carole Timbeross has opened a wonderful new shop right here in Wanamingo—Allianda Gift & Thrift—and it’s definitely worth a visit! The name “Allianda,” inspired by a blend of her two daughters’ names, means “the Best of Me.”
This unique store brings together a mix of new retail items, quality gently used goods, and beautiful handmade crafts. You’ll find one-of-a-kind pieces, locally made creations, and treasures you won’t find anywhere else—all while supporting a shop that celebrates community talent and creativity.
There truly is something for everyone, whether you’re gifting or treating yourself.
Inside, you’ll find a bright, spacious, handicap-accessible shop filled with unique items, including creations from local artists like Nancy Ellison, Dee Kohr, and Patrice Marvin. More handmade products—like soaps and candles—are on the way. The shop follows a Reduce, Reuse, Recycle philosophy, so Carole welcomes consignment items and quality donations; just text her to set up a time to review what you’d like to bring in.

Coming in January, Carole will launch “Wednesday Wanamingle,” a monthly evening event featuring activities such as book clubs, classes, and hobby nights to bring the community together.
Find Allianda at 104 Main Street, Wanamingo, on Facebook and Instagram, or contact Carole at shopallianda@gmail.com or (507) 824-2928.
Current hours are Thursdays 4–8 PM and Saturdays 9–4. Grab some friends and visit Wanamingo’s newest shop. Happy shopping—Christmas is just around the corner! Stop in and discover something special!
