In February 2024, Arrow Tree Works opened to serve Zumbrota and the surrounding region. Founded by ISA-certified arborist Jared Zillgitt, the business began at his home just outside Zumbrota. Today, it’s a trusted tree care company known for skill, reliability, and a thoughtful approach to every project—Arrow Tree Works provides services within approximately a one-hour radius of Zumbrota, reaching communities from Minneapolis to Rochester.
Arrow Tree Works has ISA-certified arborists on staff and offers a full range of services for residential and commercial customers, including tree trimming, removal, cabling, land clearing, utility right-of-way clearing, stump grinding, and herbicide treatments. What sets the company apart is its respect for customers’ properties and its investment in specialized equipment to provide safe and efficient service. Whether preserving a shade tree with cabling or helping a customer select the right replacement trees after removal, Arrow Tree Works focuses on long-term, thoughtful solutions.
Jared lives northwest of Zumbrota on a small farm with his wife, Christie, and their four children: Jack, Logan, Leah, and Luke. Arrow Tree Works isn’t just a business—it’s an extension of family, community, and the values he cares most about. “I’ve always wanted to run my own business and create a great place for people to work.” The company remains deeply committed to the community, sponsoring youth programs and educating residents about proper tree care.
Arrow Tree Works has recently expanded its fleet with a new track lift, enabling the team to take on larger and more complex projects, and is launching a monthly customer appreciation initiative to thank the community for its ongoing support.
